Key Account Manager

Basic: £28K, OTE: £35K

A rare opportunity has become available in a leading life science company to join the organisation as a Key Account Manager in the South East London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex region promoting a wide range of life science research products. The position will involve managing 15 designated accounts that will include industrial accounts in addition to academic centres. You will be responsible for maintaining current business with these accounts in addition to growing new business within them by utilising the company's resources. In addition you would explore new biotechnology companies that establish research facilities in the geographical area. The successful candidate will either be a life science graduate with at least one year of successful field sales experience now keen to move into a key account position with a world leading company. Or a PhD qualified life scientist with a sound understanding of molecular biology techniques keen to move into a sales role, this is a rare opportunity for a trainee to move into a key account role immediately.
