Instrumentation Engineer
Basic: £24K
This company is one of the leading organisations worldwide in environmental instrumentation, supplying instrumentation for ambient air quality, continuous emissions and process control, and industrial health and safety monitoring. They offer excellent after sales support and maintenance packages for all their equipment. Products include analysers, instruments, systems and integrated networks, including software to turn data into useable information. Predominantly the equipment is electronic and pneumatic in design. They are a growing organisation and have a requirement for a field instrumentation engineer based in the North London/Herts/Cambs/Beds region. This position will reinforce their already strong and well trained team of service personnel. You will provide customers with on-site service and maintenance, and occasional breakdown call-outs for the range of air quality and emission gas analysers.
You should have field service experience - ex-military engineers are desired but this is not a requirement - and a qualification to HND level in an electronics engineering discipline. This is a company that will develop you through training, and provide prospects and support, perhaps leading to a field sales role - it's a real boon if you have sales experience as the company will be able to use your sales ability later in your career. You must be self disciplined, able to work alone, and have a professional and courteous manner. To summarise, this is a great career opportunity to work and progress within an established, environmentally focussed instrumentation company.
