Service Engineer

Basic: £27K, Car Allowance: £6K

My client is a premier technology driven, high-volume manufacturer of advanced products used throughout the semiconductor test process. Their quality focus, global positioning and talented ranks have helped drive their success over the past three decades. You will be responsible for installation and repair of the company's own and OEM equipment on a global basis. You will support the sales team through technical liaison and demonstration of equipment. You'll support the production and engineering departments with testing, commissioning, and product development. The Job will involve a mix of short haul and long haul trips for customer installation jobs so you should be prepared to travel up to 75% of the time. Global international travel is required.

You should have an electronic or general engineering qualification, probably to HNC or BTEC Higher level. You will have experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on computer controlled electronic and mechanical systems. You will have the maturity to work calmly under pressure with the confidence of your own ability probably demonstrated by a background of international service experience.
