Service Engineer

This is a chance for you, a service engineer, to be recognised and rewarded. Utopia? A small, privately owned company supply instruments and provide service support to pathology labs in hospitals. Their range of instruments encompass fully automated haematology machines to small osmometers for testing dehydration. They have an opening for a service engineer to assist an existing engineer in covering the clients in the south of the UK. You will be field based and work from home. It's a reactive role and your plans will revolve (sometimes very quickly!) around the most important task, handling emergency callouts. In addition you will visit clients who have service contracts, to maintain the instruments, in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. There are opportunites in the role - to move quickly into sales if you have the propensity and desire, as well as the possibility of share ownership.

For consideration you will require experience in electronics or electromechanical engineering or repairs. A natural problem solver, you will need to be flexible, customer focused and personable and interact well with lab staff. A car is provided along with other benefits!
