Technical Sales Representative

Basic: £32K, OTE: £47K

What a cracking opportunity! This microbiology company is an international supplier of laboratory products. They are the market leader, their range is second to none. Their business is separated into two core areas - NHS labs, and industrial labs. The role is account/territory management, and you will be continuing long and loyal relationships with microbiologists, maintaining key accounts and ensuring they are as effective as possible. 90% of sales are consumables with a short shelf life, so orders are frequent in number. This vacancy is within the NHS team, and the territory is the southern swathe of England, from Margate to Truro, from the M4 down. Most of the clients are along the M4 corridor and ideal locations are Reading or Bristol. Working from home, you will be out and about most of the time. We are looking for experienced microbiologists with a degree in the subject. You MUST have a microbiology degree to be considered, AND at least 12 months of clinical lab experience, with knowledge of the core techniques and equipment. Also, you had better be a hard worker and a good relationship builder. This is the best bit - you do not need to have any sales experience (although it will be valued if you do) and you will be thoroughly trained, starting with eight weeks in house, followed by professional sales training courses offsite.
