This company specialises in automation systems and robotics, across a range of industrial sectors.

At the leading edge of industrial robotics, their consumer goods section designs, develops, and manufactures high speed automated systems, and they require an Applications Engineer. It's a small team and you'll have a broad and interesting role. You'll be facing clients, assisting in sales by providing technical knowledge and expertise, generating proposals and quotations, along with some training and installation tasks. Additionally, you'll have a true engineering element to your role, working in design, build and validation. This is a very interesting position within a division of a large company, so benefits, facilities and prospects are good.

Clearly, you should have a qualification in mechanical engineering, to HNC or ONC level. You'll also need to be a good all rounder, with excellent communication skills and the ability to think laterally and come up with solutions.
