Buisness Unit Manager

Basic: £50K OTE £60K

~ This is a hugely exciting opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial flair to join a highly regarded organisation in a strong position that is now keen to appoint a Business Unit Manager to further drive one of its highly successful business areas forward.

The role will involve managing a team of 25, taking on full P&L responsibility for a multi million pound business along with developing all sales and marketing strategies for the unit. You will be given total control over the business unit, and be responsible for generating innovative ideas to ensure the competition has to react to your successful new strategies. You will also be responsible for developing the product offering and liaising with other departments to ensure all resources are in place to support the business. It is envisaged that this person will take a lead in contract negotiations with the key accounts in the UK and look at pricing and competitor activity. The successful candidate will have 15 years' comercial experience in sales and marketing in the life science field but most importantly be able to demonstrate a track record of developing creative solutions to drive a product area forward.
