European Director of Sales and Marketing

Basic: £85K OTE £110K

_~We have been charged with the responsibility of recruiting a very senior level post within a global life science organisation.

They are keen to recruit a European Sales & Marketing Director who will lead the company to further success. The position has a team of ten reports in marketing, field sales and internal sales within Europe. The focus of the post will be to develop strategies and implement them to achieve greater sales success in Europe via the internal and external sales team and through distributor channels. The company is in a highly competitive consumable based market and is keen to grow its market share through solid sales and marketing initiatives. They have a range of gene silencing products that is creating a great deal of interest and has massive potential in Europe.

The successful candidate will be a life science graduate, ideally a PhD with an understanding of molecular biology, and have at least five years' sales and marketing experience. Previous sales management experience is essential and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies within Europe is highly desirable. This position would ideally be situated in France however those with the relevant experience in the UK and Germany should also apply.
