International Sales & Marketing Executive
Basic: £45K OTE £50K
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with 125 years of experience in designing, developing and manufacturing laboratory equipment for the life sciences and combinatorial chemistry markets.
This is a varied role and you will be working closely with the European sales team to drive the business forward on a selected portfolio of products. You will need to generate an aggressive product promotion and sales plan encompassing key end users and distributors with the aim of increasing customer awareness and subsequently increase product sales. Together with distributors you will plan product demonstrations, prepare sales literature and get involved with pricing schedules. You will travel to Europe, Japan, Australia and even South Africa (not only to enjoy the different cultures and a possible safari!) but to identify key potential growth areas both in terms of user applications and geographics; then initiate workable action plans. Ultimately you will need to develop effective sales and marketing strategies with distributors, dealers and inter-group sales and marketing members.
Now for the wish list! We want a dynamic, highly motivated, excellent communicator with a life sciences background preferably chemistry, at least 4 years of commercial experience and most importantly you must be passionate about sales! If you have a marketing qualification even better, but if you are willing to learn then we are willing to listen!
