Product Support Specialist

Basic: £18K OTE £20K

A leading life science company is expanding and is keen to recruit a Product Support Specialist to be based from their head office and support their extensive range of containment systems.

The role will involve joining a growing group and take responsibility for all product support issues relating to the containment portfolio. These products support a range of systems designed to allow analysts in the pharmaceutical industry to work safely with potent drug powders. The job will be varied and generally involve three days per week in the office and two days at customer sites in the UK and will involve providing technical support to sales people and distributors, management of demo stock, and preparation of technical and sales product packages. You will also develop knowledge of the containment industry, train sales staff on new products and act as a supplier interface. The successful candidate will be an HND or graduate in a chemistry or engineering related subject. Any knowledge or use of containment systems is desirable, those that are working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and keen to move into a commercial position should also apply. Excellent interpersonal skills, self motivation and the desire to move into a trainee commercial position are essential.
