Sales Representative

Basic: £20K OTE £24K


A leading manufacturer of gas detection instruments is keen to recruit a new Sales Representative in the South of the UK.

The company is happy to look at a person new to sales who will start as a trainee internal sales person to develop their sales skills prior to becoming field based. The role will involve promoting a range of gas detection systems to a variety of users in the South of the UK. Initially this may be by telephone and will involve generating and qualifying potential sales leads. As your confidence grows this will be field based at customer sites.

The successful candidate will be a HNC level scientist or graduate in engineering or chemistry. Those with gas detection experience gained from studies or the work place will be of particular interest. Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to move into a sales role will be essential.
