V.P European Sales and Marketing

Basic: £65K OTE £85K


~This is a wonderful opportunity with a very well established company in the UK to join them at a senior level in a highly critical role for as VP of European Sales & Marketing.

The post will involve managing a group of 14 sales, applications, marketing and service staff within Europe. The primary focus of the role will be to drive the sales forward through this team. It is a strategic role requiring an innovative thinker who can implement change when required. The company develop, manufacture and sell a range of research instruments to the market and have European sales of $5M; their brands are well recognised on a global basis and the company is keen to realise its considerable potential.

The successful candidate will be a life science graduate or PhD and have at least seven years' sales and sales management experience, and a sound understanding of marketing would also be desirable. It is essential that the person has a proven track record of developing sales through a team yet is still actively involved at the customer level at times.
