Field Sales Specialist

Basic: £25K OTE £35K


Do you glow in the dark? This company are the worldwide leader in radiochromatography software, and their software is sold to 4 out of 5 OEMs of radio-HPLC hardware. They also provide radiochromatography instrumentation and consumables, selling to drug metabolism scientists and radiochemists in the pharma industry, academia and also the NHS. Due to continued growth they require a field sales specialist to take responsibility for sales in the South - to a large extent the main clients are in the Home Counties and this is the ideal location for you to live. You'll be covering the full range of sales activities, from prospecting and generating leads, through to visiting and conducting demos, closing sales and even some post-sales support.

The company are keen to find the right individual as this is a niche area - you will need to have a good scientific background ideally with lab or sales experience in radiochemistry/drug metabolism, and knowledge of regulatory requirements in those areas, and perhaps HPLC. No two days will be the same so it's important for you to be flexible and willing to travel, perhaps outside the area and even visiting Europe later in your career as the prospects for business there are great! As you develop market understanding you will also feed back information about customers' requirements to the company for product development.
