Customer Project Manager
A rapidly expanding biotechnology company has created a new position within the organisation due to expansion!
They are keen to recruit a Customer Project Manager whose primary purpose will be to manage key business development projects, support sales growth through industry presence and generally enhance the company's technical position. The role will involve visiting customers, presenting at seminars and attending key exhibitions to provide technical support. You will also assess the technical feasability and commercial value of new products, manage client assessment of custoim made products and provide detailed feedback to the internal product development team about industry trends and future needs. You will help train the sales and marketing team on new products and help to ensure new product introductions are successful. This is a highly technical role and the successful candidate will be a graduate or PhD qualified scientist with at least six years experience in the industrial cell culture market. An understanding of bioreactor design and its effect on cell engineering would be desirable, in addition excellent interpersonal and presentation skills will be required and the ability to travel within the UK and Europe.
