Customer Support Chemist
Basic: £35,000 OTE: £40,000
A leading manufacturer of research instruments aimed at the organic chemistry market is expanding its team in Europe and is keen to recruit a Customer Support Chemist based from the UK.
The position will involve supporting customers and sales people in the UK, Ireland, France and Benelux. You will act as the key scientific resource for the company in the region and provide technical support to the sales process in the form of customer presentations, seminars, running customer samples and instrument demonstrations. In addition you will train customers on the systems and present the company's technology at conferences. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a successful commercial team in Europe.
The successful candidate will be educated, ideally to PhD level in chemistry, although compensating lab experienec will be considered. Specific experience in organic synthesis techniques will be of interest. An outgoing personality and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills will be essential, although previous customer facing experience is not necesary for the role as training and support will be provided.
