They are looking ahead, and now is the right time to take on a new member of the small team in an autonomous business role. Working closely with the directors, the main goal is to ensure that the current products achieve their potential in a growing international market. Are you willing to challenge existing practices? You'll be formulating various approaches in order to achieve sales, visiting clients worldwide, and you?ll have input into marketing strategy and even product development. This role needs a self motivated person who is an accomplished salesperson - and understands software applications and the industry. The potential is great - the reputation of the company is good, and they have some unique products - the rest is down to you.
You should be computer literate and technically minded with a science degree, and the ability to think laterally. A strong track record in technical sales is a must, ideally in scientific software sales, and the ability to undertake negotiations at all levels is required.
