Our client is looking for a director to set up and manage a new department focused on study start up activities - to be called Central Clinical Trial Services. This group will work closely with clinical operations, project management and regulatory to reduce the time it takes to get studies up and running. The responsibilities of the group will include feasibility, site identification, ethics and regulatory submissions, essential document collection and investigator agreements. You will recruit staff for the team, set up processes and systems, and liaise with other departments to establish working relationships and best practice. This will be an office based role in the South West and initially very hands-on. A competitive remuneration package is available, depending on experience, which can include relocation assistance depending on circumstances.
