This role is available office based in either the Home Counties, Midlands or Germany and will involve minimal international travel (approx 20-25%). The Proposal Associate assists the Proposal Manager with the development of global and domestic, full service and stand alone service proposals for clients. Key tasks will include participating in client meetings, producing details of proposal text and resourcing, conducting internet searches for information and gathering material for inclusion in proposals. At a more senior level the Proposal Manager supervises associates and leads the proposal development process. The Manager is involved in all areas of proposal development: reviewing the process and negotiating deadlines, client liaison, recommending proposal strategy and related resourcing, ensuring that costings are competitive.
To be considered for a manager level position you will have worked within proposals for at least 3-4 years - preferably within a CRO. For the associate level a minimum of two years proposal writing experience is required. You will be detail orientated and well organised with strong writing and editing ability. You will be proficient with MS Office programs and Lotus. Excellent benefits and training is available to the successful candidate.
