Account Manager - £40k

A highly innovative company that is enjoying a period of growth is keen to recruit an Account Manager to join its existing team.

This is an unusual role in that the post is focused on identifying and establishing distribution channels in Europe as opposed to end user sales in the UK. The company has a technology platform based around a highly innovative software product that is focused in the clinical diagnostic field. It is a unique product and they are keen to establish a group of distributors to launch this to the market in Europe. The post will involve regular travel in Europe and negotiating distribution contracts with companies, training the distributor companies and the ongoing management of the relationship.

The successful candidate will be a life science graduate and be highly IT literate. Previous experience of managing distributors is essential along with the ability to travel within Europe. Those with sales experience in the life science software field will be of high interest. Excellent communication skills and a high level of commercial acumen are essential.
