Marketing Operations Manager - £39k
Our client is a fast growing life-science company at the forefront of molecular immunology, providing both reagents and services.
From an HQ in Oxford, the company serves a broad spectrum of customers in academia and the pharma industry. They are recruiting a Marketing Operations Manager and it's a really interesting role. If you are an immunologist this will be a particularly exciting opportunity. You'll be based in the office and reporting directly to the CEO, working with him and the sales manager to plan and implement marketing strategy to achieve continued growth. There are new catalogues and mailshots to publish, conferences to arrange and even the website to update. In addition you'll be managing distributors overseas. You will have an assistant who will work alongside you, part time. With an international client base of more than 30 countries, and international suppliers too, this is the sort of opportunity only a small business can provide - an autonomous role with exposure to all areas of marketing and indeed business in general, both here and abroad. You CAN make an impact! If you feel you are this company's easter bunny then let us know!
It's a role that requires a degree in life science, and marketing operations experience. You will probably have begun your career in the lab, and must be able to demonstrate two + years in operational management of projects, ideally in a sales and marketing setting. This is more important than your creative talent.
