Sales Director - £70k

A highly innovative company that is expanding its commercial operations within the UK is now keen to recruit a Sales Director.

This will be a new appointment for the company and will involve managing all commercial operations within Europe and the US. There is a small sales team who in turn manage over 30 distributors in Europe that will report to this post; you will manage the sales team and be responsible for developing their skills. You will also set annual budgets and assess distributor sales across Europe. In addition you will explore new distribution channels and also negotiate agreements with them. The company is keen to grow its sales and this appointement will be critical to the future growth plans.

The successful candidate will have highly developed sales, sales management and distributor management experience with a thorough understanding of issues relating to distribution agreements. Experience of software sales in the life science field with a passion for new technology is highly desirable. Those with experience in the dermatology field and with the US would be at a distinct advantage; however this is not essential.
