Senior Clinical Program Manager - £50k
This global speciality pharmaceutical company is looking to strengthen its early phase team in Europe with the additional of a Senior Clinical Program Manager who will co-ordinate all phase I activity for general medicine products within the EU.
This is an office based role in Hampshire with minimal travel although occasional trips to the US will be required. This is an autonomous role involving extensive liaison with the bioscience and clinical development teams. You will have responsibility for the planning, implementation and management of phase I studies or programs for assigned compounds within the general medicine portfoilo. This will involve contributing to product development strategy and clinical development plan, setting budgets for the program and negotiating contracts with CROs, finalising the monitoring plan, writing protocols and sections of the investigator brochure and liasing with regulatory agencies. You will also be responsible for recruiting, managing and training staff within the clinical pharmacology team. Excellent benefits are available including bonus scheme and stock options.
Applications are invited from candidates with a science degree and at least five years clinical research experience - two years must have been in Phase I. Previous experience of staff management is essential.
