Account Manager - £38k

An opportunity exists within a full service consultancy company for an Account Manager to join their team in London.

This ambitious expanding company is dedicated to working with science-based companies, promoting a range of leading edge products, technologies and services. You will be providing the main interface with clients. This means that your work will very much be driven by client assignments. So be prepared for a varied job which can sometimes be unpredictable! Some of the tasks may include: project management of PR campaigns, research, copywriting and drafting proposals. You will be a key player in identifying and winning new business both from existing and new clients. You will be supported by a team of account executives who will contribute to the successful implementation of client PR campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be educated to PhD level and have hands-on experience within life science research. At least one year's experience in a commercial environment is required and knowledge of the biotech and pharma industries would be advantageous. You must have strong communications skills, excellent writing skills and be able to manage your time very effectively.
