Area Manager - £36k (£41k OTE)

Would you like to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of analytical instrumentation? Are you a dedicated sales person that thrives on prospecting for new business? If so, this may be the job for you.

The role covers the South of England but the main focus will be on the Oxford, London and Cambridge triangle. You will be joining the new molecular biology division which will focus on promoting and selling the range of PCR machines and associated consumables. You will sell into both research and diagnostic laboratories however, the goal is to target the clinical market. Your responsibilities will include providing demonstrations and customer training, organising and attending exhibitions, maintaining an up to date database and participating in marketing campaigns. The company will provide you with full training and there will be opportunities in the future for you to progress your career to sales management level. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a high level of self-motivation and a thorough understanding of molecular biology. You will currently be working in the field as a sales or product specialist and must be able to demonstrate a highly successful, recent sales track record.
