Business Development Manager - £32k
This speciality biometrics CRO is expanding its sales capability with the addition of a Business Development Manager!
To be considered, all you need is an understanding of drug development and some commercial experience within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry. In this role you will sell a contract biometric and medical writing service to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the UK and Europe. You will be office based in Hertfordshire and can expect to visit clients twice a week (there is no option for field based working). Initially you will be assigned some clients from the company portfolio but will also be expected to bring in new business. You will be involved in all stages of the sales process from initial contact, through the proposal and contract negotiation stage until the project begins.
Ideally you will have had some exposure within the CRO business development field and process knowledge of statistics and data management, while not essential, wouild be an advantage. Applications will also be considered from candidates looking to apply their data management knowledge to a new area of clinical research OR from existing sales professionals from other science fields loooking for a new challenge. If you do not have sales experience you must be able to demonstrate sales aptitude along with a confident and friendly personality. A degree is essential - science based preferred.
