Contract Clinical Programme Manager - £55k

A leading biotechnology company has an urgent requirement for an experienced senior project manager to run a European general medicine programme for a contract period of 12 months based out of their Cambridge office. The studies within the programme cover phases II-IV and focus on the development of novel drugs in the nephrology and bone metabolism therapy areas. You will lead a team of study managers and CRAs to deliver projects within this therapeutic group on time and within budget. This will involve running studies through CROs and other vendors, devising development plans and producing other study related documentation. Excellent rates of pay are available including contributions to pension, healthcare and a car allowance. The contract is scheduled to start in July and you must be able to commit to this start date.

To be considered for this position you will need to have a BSc - PhD preferred - and have at least five years experience in a project management level role. You must be experienced at managing CROs and leading a clinical team. Knowledge of budgeting, study planning and development strategy is essential.
