Field Service Engineer - £30k

A leading manufacturer of life science research instruments is keen to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support their customers in the UK. The position will involve installation, maintenance and emergency repair of automated life science instruments at customers in the UK. There will be some support for distributors in Europe although this will not exceed 4 days per month. The research instruments are all run on a windows based software platform and will require confidence in installing control software. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly innovative company that are passionate about their products.

The successful candidate will have an electro mechanical background to HNC level or higher and have service experience with life science research instruments, excellent communication skills and the ability to travel in the UK and on occasions Europe is essential.
