Field Service Engineer - £35k
HPLC/GC/MS service engineers are you out there? Want a really great job?
This well established service organisation has been in the field of HPLC, GC and mass spec for 10+ years. With a team of highly qualified and professional engineers, the company offers competitive maintenance packages, reconditioned instrumentation, user training and spares. Due, quite simply, to the very real success of the company in recent months, they require two more service engineers, to provide service to new clients and existing ones in their geographical area. One engineer is required in the South of the UK and another for the North, where the dividing line is Birmingham. You will have customer ownership and conduct visits to maintain, install, and fix breakdowns. There is no weekend work required and the salary and benefits package are excellent, and include a potential bonus!
They want the best of the best so if you are an experienced engineer in HPLC/MS/GC, with the highest standards in your work, or come from a manufacturer in these fields, then this could be the best offer you'll get all year. For this role you must know HPLC or MS or GC at a troubleshooting or repair level. You could be a lab chemist and maintain the equipment (not just use it), or you might be a service or manufacturing engineer already. This is a rare opportunity and it's no April Fool!
