Programme Director - £65k

This senior role within project management is not to be missed! There are three roles available at this level, each within a different therapy area - oncology, cardiovascular and internal medicine.

At this level you will be responsible for either a specific customer, indication or drug compound which involves ensuring that programmes of studies are delivered within timeline and budget parameters. This role is 60% focused on project delivery with the remainder allocated to line and operational management, process improvement and business development activities. This is a highly commercial role and you will be heavily involved in maximising profitability for all programmes on a global level. There will be a required travel element of 20-30% in this job and you must be flexible on this. You will be paid well and will also qualify for an excellent benefits including a management bonus scheme.

Applications are invited from candidates with a minimum of five years international project or programme management experience in either the oncology, cardiovascular or internal medicine therapy areas. Line management experience is also essential. CRO experience is preferable although applications are welcomed from candidates with pharma experience if you can demonstrate commercial awareness and an understanding of the CRO workplace.
