Sales Manager - £30k (£36k OTE)

The post available is Sales Manager and will initially involve developing further sales from a number of established customers that are a mix of large pharmaceutical companies and academic centres, along with generating new business. There is a concentration of accounts in the Oxford, Cambridge and London triangle although there will be trips further afield on occasion. You will attend exhibitions and concentrate on developing bulk sales through purchasing managers. Once sales reach key levels within the UK through your hard work additional sales people will be recruited who will report to you. This is a very rare opportunity to help a company grow and move into a people management post.

The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with an understanding of molecular biology techniques and at least 18 months of consumable field sales experience. Those who have dealt with purchasing managers previously and negotiated bulk purchasing agreements will be highly regarded.
