A leading manufacturer and supplier of cytogenetic FISH probes is ready and waiting for you.
They are releasing some exciting and totally unique products in the next few weeks, and they expect to increase turnover markedly. So, it's the best possible time to join and there is room for growth in your career. They are recruiting a UK Account Manager and the main task is sales management of key cytogenetic laboratories throughout the UK. Your focus will be promoting and selling a unique range of fluorescence in-situ hybridisation (FISH) probes and devices to hospital and private labs. You will sell into both research and diagnostic laboratories, however the goal is to target the clinical diagnostics market. Your responsibilities will include organising and managing customer visits and sales presentations, organising and attending exhibitions, maintaining an up to date database and participating in marketing campaigns. For consideration you will need to demonstrate a good practical knowledge of cytogenetics and/or molecular biology, a high level of self motivation and excellent organisational skills. However, you do not need sales experience. It's desirable of course, but if you are working in the lab and have excellent communication skills you can certainly apply.
