Clinical Research Manager - £55k

This is a UK, office based role and would suit an experienced project manager or team leader with an interest in CRA resourcing and management.

The Job
The overall responsibility of this role is the coaching, recruitment and development of clinical staff - CRAs and Team Leaders - with full accountability for the business performance of clinical operations on allocated projects within the UK. You will play a supportive role in the project team, allocating CRAs to projects and performing accompanied site visits, ensuring that the delivery of the clinical part of the project is within set timelines and budgets. You will be fully accountable for the performance of your CRAs on these projects. Occasionally you may have assume a team leader role on large, global studies and review monitoring reports etc. An excellent benefits package is available and the salary will reflect the level of experience of the successful candidate.

The Person:
To be considered for this position you will have worked in clinical research for at least six years, which will include two years at project management level. You will have worked as a CRA previously and be able to demonstrate experience of phase II and III trials across a range of therapy areas.
