The Company:

The Job:
The instrumentation is mainly opto-mechanical and opto-electronic in nature. The mechanical engineers design the precision mechanisms, chassis, enclosures and sampling accessories the products require. Due to the high performance nature of the equipment it is often very challenging in design terms to achieve the required precision, stability, speed and cost performance goals. The company places an strong emphasis on quality by design and up front analysis as opposed to design evolution.

The Person:
The successful candidate will be a graduate in mechanical engineering or have equivalent experience along with at least five years experience in the design of electro-mechanical equipment. Knowledge of Pro-Engineering or similar mechanical CAD software is required. Prior experience of leading small teams is desirable along with excellent communication skills.
