Sales Representative - £25k (£28k OTE)

The Company
The company is a UK manufacturer which specialises in the research, development and production of immunodiagnostic kits and reagents for use in the investigation of human and veterinary diseases. The products are sold worldwide into both the clinical and research environment, and through a global network of distributors and offices in UK, USA, France and Germany.
The Job
The territory for this role will cover Mid and South Wales, South West, Dorset, Wiltshire and Ireland. The ideal location to live will be Bristol as, although you will initially spend 50% of your time in Ireland, this will diminish to 25% after which the rest of your time will be spent developing and maintaining the business in the South West. The role will involve promoting and selling the full range of products to laboratories in the clinical and research environment so it is essential that you are confident talking to decision makers and consultant physicians. Other responsibilities will include maintaining an up to date database, providing quotations and attending exhibitions.
The Person
To be successful you need to have a good knowledge of immunology, biochemistry or virology and have some hands on experience in a hospital laboratory.
