European Applications Specialist - £35k

A young and rapidly expanding biotechnology company that has developed two technology platforms that are used in the drug discovery, development and diagnostics research arena is keen to recruit a European Applications Specialist. This will be a varied role involving support to the customer base within the UK and Europe at customer sites, by telephone and e-mail. You will also present the technology at trade shows and seminars and conduct product demonstrations to assist in the sales process. The successful candidate will be a graduate with research experience or PhD level scientist in the protein chemistry field and have at least 12 months of applications or sales experience in the life science field. Excellent communication skills, ability to travel in Europe and high levels of self motivation will be essential.
