Manager,Clinical Research Late Phase - £40k

This is a challenging position within a newly created division of the clinical operations group! The late phase group is a new area for the company but highlighted for expansion - you will need to have the drive and enthusiasm to develop and expand this area together with the Director of Clinical Research! The Company: This is an expanding, dynamic CRO that has tripled in size in Europe over the last three years. Specialising in the development of oncology, CNS, anti-infective and cardiovascular products they offer a comprehensive range of services to small and medium sized biotech and pharma companies. This company focuses on its people, offering excellent training and development opportunities and a FUN, team focused working environment. The Job: As this is a new business area for the company you will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the team and processes. You will provide technical advice to the business development team and play a key role in proposals meetings with clients. In addition to this you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting of all international late phase (phase IV) trials ensuring on time and to budget performance. You will write and review protocols and clinical study reports, manage cross functional teams and line manage CRAs. The Person: You will have a degree and at least eight years relevant clinical research experience of which two years must have been spent in the management of international phase IV studies. Experience of oncology and Anti-infective drug development is essential and knowledge of cardivascular and CNS is preferred. CRO experience is preferable although pharma will be considered.
