European Sales Development Manager - ?85k (?100k OTE)

A global organisation is expanding its European operations and is keen to recruit a European Sales Development Manager based in Germany. This is an exciting and varied opportunity and will involve developing tactical sales and marketing business plans capable of achieving sales growth within a defined product group. You will implement these plans and drive sales across Europe through an extensive field sales force. Training, supporting and motivating the sales team will be essential. You will create marketing support programs for the product group and utilise a marcoms group to put your ideas into practice. Pricing, product introductions and differentiation will all be part of the post. The successful candidate will be a graduate or ideally PhD qualified molecular biologist who has a proven track record in sales and has now gained two or more years in a marketing or product management position. Those with experience in gene silencing and QPCR would be of high interest. This is a high profile position requiring excellent communication and influencing skills.
