European Sales Specialists *2 - ?65k (?80k OTE)

A leading life science company that is going through a period of expansion is keen to recruit two Sales Specialists, one to cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland and one to cover France, Benelux and Spain to focus on a number of defined accounts in the regions. The role will involve concentrating on a small product portfolio in the functional genomics and proteomic field, and maximising market awareness and sales within pharma, biotech and some larger academic research centres. You would work closely with local account managers and take responsibility for negotiating large sales in your product area with customers in the ?200K plus region. You will also launch new product offerings to the market. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a global leader in a highly focused role taking responsibility for a high growth product group. The successful candidate will be a graduate biochemist/molecular biologist with subsequent research experience or have a PhD qualification and at least three years of proven sales experience in the life science instrumentation or consumables field. You must have experience of closing large value sales in the pharma and biotech market and be able to influence others to cooperate with you in a sales team.
