Sales Specialist - £38k (£45k OTE)

A globally recognised life science company is expanding its European sales team and is keen to recruit a Sales Specialist for a defined product group in the UK. The role will involve driving sales of a range of genomic research products to the market through direct sales activities and support of a team of account managers in the UK. There will be no cold calling, leads will be generated by marketing activities and the field based account managers. You will be expected to negotiate large sales and effectively project manage the sales process. Due to the scale of the negotiations you will need to utilise other departments and influence varied groups ensuring a working solution is developed for the customer. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with a sound understanding of molecular biology. Those with knowledge of QPCR, oligos or SiRNA would be of high interest. In addition you will have at least four years of sales experience and have proven project management experience in relation to managing a sales process.
