Senior Account Manager - £43k (£58k OTE)

Do you know capital instrumentation sales? Are you someone who wants more than an average job - an exciting challenge, working with a new and pioneering technology and bringing this to the marketplace? Then read on, as this is a fabulous job. This company has been working on their new technology for four years. It's instrumentation that has applications in the pharma industry, especially drug formulation development and R & D, as well as other sectors. They are now ready for the marketplace and have sold to GSK and Pfizer; their funding is secure and the timing is right for a new member of the sales team to join, and establish accounts in the pharma industry. You'll be handling certain regions of the UK, and Europe. This is high value equipment, and for some potential customers, an unknown technique, so it's a role that requires experience. The prospects are good and new applications for this technology are under development. Phone, email, or send carrier pigeon to learn more. You should have a degree in physical/chemistry/life science and 5+ years of direct selling experience in capital equipment sales, ideally spectroscopy. Plus, knowledge of pharma R&D and process analytical technology is desired, probably necessary. As a person, you should have a proactive approach and enjoy prospecting, but also have the patience and tenacity that's necessary to follow through long sales cycles. It's not a job for the more reactive salesperson. Language ability is an obvious boon, and you should live close to an airport. If you fit the profile and are after an international challenge, and want to be part of something new and growing, please contact us now.
