Contracts Associate - £24k

This company is a industry leader in the provision of clinical development services to the pharmaceutical industry and is well known for quality and excellence! The job is based in Berkshire although there will be some travel involved. After the company has won new business from a client a contract must be drawn up to outline the schedule of work, payments and the responsibilities of all parties. As a contracts associate you will support the management in the preparation of confidentiality agreements, payment shedules, consulting agreements and other legal documents specific to each project. You will become knowledgeable about contract law and after a period of time would be able to handle many legal queries with minimal referral to management. The role is very administrative to begin with although you will progress into a more senior role that will involve negotiating contractual terms with clients directly. This job offers you the chance to experience contract law first hand - without a law degree! What do you need to apply? You need to be a graduate with a couple of years work experience. This experience can be from a range of disciplines - what will make you stand out is an interest in the legal aspects of clinical research and a dynamic, confident personality.
