Safety Associate II - £28k

Due to expansion this global CRO is looking for a Safety Associate to join the team in the UK. The role will be office based and will involve all aspects of drug safety. The company is a well respected organisation and they provide the full range of clinical services across all phases of development. They are particularly well known for their work in the oncology, biotechnology and infectious diseases therapy areas. This role will involve reviewing SAE's and AE's for completeness and regulatory compliance. You will prepare safety data reports both for clients and also for submitting to regulatory authorities and you will liaise with the Clinical Research teams to ensure compliance with safety and pharmocovigilance SOPs. The role will be challenging and exciting and this will give you the opportunity to be an integral part of interesting projects. To be successful you must have a life science degree and at least three years of relevant experience either in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment. Candidates with a background in nursing may also apply. You need to have an eye for detail and you must have a good working knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines and regulations.
