Sales Specialist *2 - £31k (£39kOTE)

One of the largest life science companies in the world is now expanding its sales team and is keen to recruit two Sales Specialists. The first area is the M62 corridor and Northern England and the second is South London and surrounding home counties to the South coast. The roles will involve managing a number of academic, pharma and biotech accounts that are well established, so no cold calling will be required. You will develop and implement a business plan to sustain and win new business within these defined accounts. The product range is consumable orientated and wide in its applications. Most discussions will be with stores, procurement and heads of department, and you will need to be a keen negotiator! The successful candidates will be life science graduates with at least 18 months of field sales experience in the life science field. The sales experience should ideally encompass a commodity style of sales process - those who have worked for a distributor would be of particular interest.
