A leading manufacturer of products aimed at the molecular biology research market is keen to recruit three Laboratory Leaders. The positions are based in Scotland and the roles will involve directing and developing teams to specialise in methods, processes and operations for existing tests and technologies. Working with the Scientific Director the successful individuals will ensure that all client reports meet with the client?s specification, are delivered on time and are in accordance with the relevant SOP?s and cGMP?s and meeting regulatory requirements.There would also be involvement in training departmental staff, performing appraisals and setting objectives. The successful individuals will be positive and influential members of the Operations Management Team, with the ability to communicate effectively at a variety of levels. Experience in the management of a team is essential for these roles.The ideal candidates will possess a life science degree with qualifications in molecular biology, microbiology, or virology being advantageous.
