Key Account Manager - £37K (£47k OTE)
This is a great opportunity to join a highly innovative and motivated company that manufactures a range of instruments and consumables used in the molecular biology research arena. They are now keen to recruit a Key Account Manager. The role will be based from the South East of the UK and involve managing a number of strategic accounts within the UK. These include pharmaceutical companies and some research institutions and represent the largest accounts for the company in the UK. You will be expected to develop business development strategies for these accounts and grow sales within them. You may also become involved in mentoring more junior sales team members. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate witha sound understaning of molecular biology research techniques and have at least two years of field sales experience in the life science sector. Those with experience of selling to the pharma and academic sector will be favoured. Excellent communication skills and a genuinly team-oriented attitude are essential.
