Field Support Engineer - £30K

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field service engineer to join a rapidly expanding life science company that manufactures a range of analytical instruments used in the research, development and production stages of the drug discovery process. The role will involve installing, upgrading and carrying out emergency maintenance visits at customer sites within the UK. The majority are pharmaceutical companies. You will also be expected to travel into Europe occasionally. Other aspects you may become involved in will include customer training and promoting their service contracts to existing customers. The successful candidate will be a HNC qualified electronics engineer with at least two years of field service experience working on scientific instrumentation. Those with experience of analytical chemistry systems or chromatography would be of high interest. Full product training will be provided however.
