E-Business Sales Consultant - £30K (£36K OTE)

A leading life science company is keen to recruit an E-Business Sales Consultant to join the expanding team. This is largely a field based role, and the territory covers Scotland. You will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's e-business solutions to an existing customer database, including academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations. Part of the remit includes growing the e-commerce channel, including existing and new e-commerce applications and services. Targeting senior purchasing professionals, you will demonstrate e-business capabilities, provide business propositions and negotiate terms and contracts. You will develop business plans and actively provide customer adapted feature enhancements. To be successful in this position, you will have a degree in business, marketing or e-commerce. Knowledge of supply chain management and technologies is required. Previous experience of account management and similar e-business consulting is considered necessary.
