Sales Representative - £32K (£37K OTE)

A highly regarded life science company has created a post for a Sales Specialist through internal promotion. The role will involve supporting a team of account managers throughout the UK on a defined product group. You will drive sales of RNAi, oligos, peptide and antisera products in the UK by supporting account managers and handling high value sales presentations and negotiations. In conjunction with the marketing team you will develop tactical sales and marketing plans to develop sales activity in the UK. You will be expected to manage high value sales negotiations and present technical seminars to CSO/Director level buyers. The successful candidate will be a PhD molecular biologist or a graduate with some research experience in molecular biology and at least two years of life science sales experience. You must have experience of negotiating high value sales to senior level purchasers in the UK. Those with knowledge of the siRNA field will be of high interest.
