Technical Sales Specialist - £35K (£55K OTE)

A company that has developed and now manufactures an instrument that can instantly and accurately detect the minutest trace of a volatile organic compound in any sample imaginable is keen to recruit a Technical Sales Specialist in the UK. The company will be occupying office space in Manchester and have instruments being trialled in the UK. They are keen to develop sales throughout the UK and Europe. Applications for the instruments include the healthcare/medical diagnosis area, food processing and quality control, environmental monitoring, biosecurity, petroleum exploration, metabolic evaluation and indoor air quality. With such a wide variety of potential customers the prospects are endless! Your role will be to introduce this new technology and develop sales for the instruments costing circa £150K. The successful candidate will be a graduate, ideally in chemistry, with at least three years of field sales experience in analytical instrumentation, a true solution sales person! Those that have sold mass spec instruments will be of particular interest. Excellent communication skills, high levels of self motivation and excellent presentation skills are essential.
