Technical Support Specialist - £21K

A leading life science company is looking for a trainee Technical Support Specialist to join their team in the South East of the UK. The role will involve supporting customers by telephone and e-mail on specifically QPCR assay design and associated technical queries. You will also become involved in presenting techniques to customers and attending conferences and seminars. The successful candidate will be a graduate or have a higher qualification in molecular biology and have a sound understanding of PCR based techniques. Those with hands-on experience of using QPCR, and assay design/optimisation will be of particular interest, and excellent communication skills will be essential.
